France’s Autorité Nationale des Jeux (ANJ) has published a groundbreaking study utilizing a first-of-its-kind algorithmic detection tool to analyze revenue dependence on high-risk play. The findings, released on 13 May 2026, reveal that during the second half of 2025, the algorithm identified approximately 600,000 players who are highly likely to be problem gamblers. While this group represents 8.7% of registered users across licensed online operators, they generated an astonishing €1.2 billion—accounting for 60% of total Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR).

Unregulated Global Gambling Reached $5.9 Trillion in 2025

A groundbreaking report from Gaming Compliance International (GCI) reveals that the scale of unregulated online gambling reached a massive $5.9 trillion in global wagering value in 2025. This figure exceeds the GDP of almost every country, trailing only the United States and China. According to the report, GCI Online Gaming 2025: Global, published on 18 May 2026, unregulated operators now command a staggering 78% of global gross gaming revenue, leaving licensed, taxed operators with just 22%.

GIG appeared in 2012 along with the launch of its main e-gaming operators. The annual growth of the firm has now reached 193% in the mid-2010s, and more offices have opened across Europe. Included among them are those offices headquartered in Gibraltar, Oslo, and Marbella in addition to its first office at GB Buildings, Penthouse Watar Street, Ta’Xbiex, XBX 1301, Malta.

There are two directors, Robin Reed and Thomas Backman, and they are the chief board members. GIG’s shares have reached 5.2 NOK and continue to grow. It offers an affiliate program that rewards its participants with up to 40% of the revenue for bringing in 35 and more new members.

Owner’s Portfolio

There are six names from GIG in our list, including Thrills, Rizk, and more. Each brand holds two licenses—one by Malta e-Gaming Authority and another by UKGC—and features more than 700 releases from Microgaming, Thunderkick, Bally Interactive, NYX, ELK, Play’n GO, BetSoft, Next Generation Gaming, IGT, Quickspin, and Net Entertainment.

The majority of gambling destinations have only games, while Guts provides a poker room and a sportsbook, and SuperLenny also offers sports betting. The best represented categories are slots, with an equal number of table games and video poker and even fewer arcades. Live dealer gaming is powered by Evolution Gaming.

There are both online and mobile modes, each of which allows for an instant experience from the browser. The content at each gambling provider is multi-language and allows players to choose between English, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, and German.

Promotions and Bonuses

Half of the Gaming Innovation community offers a 200% match bonus for newbies, and the other half rewards with a 100% match sign-up promotion. Also, Guts and Thrills both grant an extra 25 to 30 free spins on top of each initial deposit and as part of their weekly bonuses and special offers. SuperLenny and Kaboo give even more—up to 150 free spins as part of the welcome package and other deals.

Except for Guts and BetSpin, none of these require promo codes, and the wager is in between 30xB, 45xB, and 50xBD. All bonuses are cashable after meeting the rollover requirements. Arcades contribute the most with slots falling into the wagering rules 50% of the time.

Our Take

GIG is a reputable owner that has put together several websites, a few sportsbook destinations, and one title that also provides a poker room. It has multiple positive reviews from users that are satisfied with the fast payouts, large game library, multiple software studios, and versatile bonuses. Gambling portals have provided high ratings and accreditation for the majority of this e-gaming group’s members.
