UKGC Launches Consultation on Safer Gaming Machine Standards

The UK Gambling Commission has initiated a new consultation aimed at enhancing player safety and fairness within the British gambling sector. This marks the third consultation undertaken by the Commission to implement the recommendations outlined in the 2023 Gambling Act Review White Paper, "High Stakes: gambling reform for the digital age."
The 16-week consultation, which will run from January 29, 2025, to May 20, 2025, focuses on the revision of gaming machine technical standards and the associated testing strategy.
