Rouge
RouletteFrench for "red". In roulette, a red number.
Round
PokerA period of betting after a certain number of cards have been dealt out. In tournaments, a (usually timed) period of play.
Round of Play
CasinoA period in which a bet or sequence of bets is resolved.
Row Bet
RouletteA bet on three numbers on one of the 12 rows or streets. Pays 11 to 1. Also known as a street bet.
Royal Flush (Also, Royal Straight Flush or Royal)
PokerVideo PokerAn ace-high straight flush: i.e. AKQJ10 of the same suit. The best hand in standard poker games.
Royal Flush Sequential
Video PokerA royal flush in order of rank, for which certain video poker machines pay a bonus. They may require it be from left to right or right to left.
Royal Flush Wild
Video PokerA royal flush made with one or more wild cards.
RSA
BlackjackAcronym for resplit aces. When a player splits aces, they receive a single card on each ace. Getting dealt another ace and being able to split that hand is a distinct advantage for the player.
Runners
HiLoTwo consecutive cards that improve a player's hand.
S17
BlackjackCode that indicates the dealer stands on all hands totaling 17. This includes soft 17, e.g. A6. This rule favors the player.
