• Four Card Inside Straight Flush

  Video Poker

  Four cards of the same suit almost in sequence, with a gap of one, e.g. KQJ9 of hearts.

• Chameleon Strategy

  Mimicking the play or strategy of a winning roulette player.

  Synonym: Coat-tail

• Hop Bet

  A one-time bet on an outcome specified by the bettor of the next roll of the dice. Pays either 15 to 1 or 30 to 1, depending on the choice.

• Texas Holdem

  The most popular version of poker. Each player receives two down cards, and can use five shared community cards to make the best hand.

• Sixaine

  Roulette

  French term for a bet on the six numbers in two adjacent rows. E.g. 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21.

• Four Card Inside Straight

  Video Poker

  Four cards almost in sequence, with just one gap, e.g. 9765.

• Noir

  Roulette

  French for "black". In roulette, a bet on a black number.

• Double Down

  Blackjack

  In blackjack, the option to double one's original bet. However, the player must take one and only one more card.

• Third Base

  Blackjack

  The player to the dealer's far right or the spot the player occupies. The player is the last to act before the dealer. Also called the anchor.

• Royal Flush Sequential

  Video Poker

  A royal flush in order of rank, for which certain video poker machines pay a bonus. They may require it be from left to right or right to left.
