LeoVegas Group Plans to Acquire Push Gaming

LeoVegas announced the acquisition of Push Gaming, as the group purchased the majority of shares of this award-winning software provider. However, fans of this UK-based studio should not worry about the upcoming acquisition, as little will change for the company in terms of game development.

The acquisition was announced on May 1st, and it will be conducted via LeoVegas Group’s investment arm LeoVentures. The deal is in line with the company’s strategy to invest in game content creation and distribution.

Given an award-winning portfolio of Push Gaming, LeoVegas also receives a good opportunity to immerse itself in the fast-growing industry of slot game production. The acquired studio can also boost LeoVegas group’s game development capabilities due to the technologies, expertise, and intellectual property of Push Gaming which has been in the industry for more than 10 years.

Speaking about Push Gaming’s expertise and experience, it boasts a solid portfolio with over 30 reeled machines that are popular with many players in different markets. Some of the recent titles by this studio that are worth trying are:

  • Crystal Catcher, an entertaining release with gem fever in which you can collect generous rewards by having clusters on a 7x7 grid. Cascading wins and Wild beetles that grant generous multipliers are about the bonuses that boost your wins here.
  • Mystery Mission: To the Moon offers players a chance to participate in a thrilling trip to space. Help a group of experienced space fighters defeat aliens on a 6x4 grid and secure big rewards of up to 10,000x the stake. An exciting free spins round is another reason to give this release a try.
  • Stace Stacks is yet another space-themed adventure, but this time the focus is on the mechanic of the game due to which you need to fill the entire reel with symbols of the same kind to get a payout. There are plenty of special icons that trigger bonuses and modify the grid.

LeoVegas claims that Push Gaming will remain an independent studio, and all its 100+ employees will continue working and contributing to the future success of this software developer. Games developed by this UK studio will still be distributed via their own platform, and Co-founders Winston Lee and James Marshall will remain in their current positions in the company.

Another milestone for LeoVegas for the gambling license granted by German authorities. According to the terms of this permit, the company can now conduct nationwide promotional campaigns.
