Amaya, Bet-at-home and Gamblit Gaming receive licenses from UK Gambling Commission
UK Gambling Commission keeps granting new licenses to the gambling operators. The Commission has recognized the gambling licensed of the Isle of Man issued to Amaya's brands PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. These brands are now allowed to continue their services to the customers in the United Kingdom. Online bookmaker Bet-at-home received the licenses to operate the online casino and sportsbook sites, but not the poker room. A software provider for real money gaming Gamblit Gaming also received a license approval, and now may start powering UK-oriented online casinos with new games.
The Commission warned the sports club against advertising unlicensed sponsors in the letter dated October 27, 2014. Those clubs that continue sponsorship agreements with unlicensed gambling providers could be punished if they don't ensure that the UK players are restricted from betting on the advertised sites, and this restriction is clearly stated in the sponsored advertisements.
