This is probably the closest a story can get to the most popular romantic plot - that of Romeo and Juliet. Once upon a time, during the era of Eastern Jin Dynasty, there was a boy named Liang Shanbo, and a girl named Zhu Yingtai. These two were in love, but could not be together, so when they died, apart from each other, their souls turned into butterflies and reunited in the afterlife.
