• High-Low Bet

  In roulette, an even-money bet on either 1-18 (low) or 19-36 (high). In craps, a one-time bet on the 2 and 12 on the next roll.

  A losing spin where one or more winning symbols are tantalizingly close to a payline.

• RSA

  Acronym for resplit aces. When a player splits aces, they receive a single card on each ace. Getting dealt another ace and being able to split that hand is a distinct advantage for the player.

• French Roulette (European Roulette)

  The version of roulette without the 00. Has half the house edge of the American version with the 00.

  Eight numbers on the two sections of the wheel (17, 34, 6, and 1, 20, 14, 31, 9) between the Voisins du zero and tiers du cylindre sections. Also a five-chip bet on those numbers: straight up on the 1, and split bets on 6 and 9, 14 and 17, 17 and 20, and 31 and 34.
