Gambling is popular worldwide, so the aspect of responsible gambling is now more important than ever. Thus, it is no surprise that many countries implement stricter rules to protect their citizens and secure a safe gaming experience for them. As a result, software developers and online operators must follow those rules in regulated markets and be compliant with offered requirements. NOVOMATIC is one of those companies that does not only adapt to the offered changes, but it also pioneers different initiatives, and G4 certification is one of them.

The company has recently been certified by the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4) in Italian and Spanish markets for its protection of minors and player protection policies.

NOVOMATIC claims that responsible gaming has always been a priority, so its subsidiaries in other markets have already gained this certificate. Austria and Germany are among the countries. Now, such core markets for this software provider as Italy and Spain are on that list as well.

Johannes Gratzl, Member of the Executive Board of NOVOMATIC, commented on this milestone: “The successful G4 certification according to the highest international player protection standard now also in Italy and Spain is a remarkable success for us and proves the high importance of player and youth protection at NOVOMATIC.”

G4 is a worldwide accreditation program that strives for more responsible gambling that brings players entertainment and allows them to avoid problems that might arise as they play games at online casinos. NOVOMATIC is one of those companies that takes responsibility for its customers and demonstrates that responsible gambling is important for it.

This Austrian company was the first to obtain G4 certification, which is the strictest in terms of requirements for software providers when it comes to player protection. Every three years, companies are audited in accordance with 100 criteria in different aspects of gambling, and NOVOMATIC manages to pass such audits successfully.

NOVOMATIC does not only work on secure gambling in Italy, but it also expands its services in this market. Thus, the company has recently acquired HBG Group, and that deal made NOVOMATIC the largest concessionaire in Italy.

At the same time, Campeόn Gaming has signed a partnership agreement with LiveSpins to transform the gaming experience for players and make it more social and exciting via streaming of spins while playing video slots and interacting with viewers.
