Malta and Netherlands Gaming Authorities Will Now Share Info

Gambling supervising authorities in Malta and Netherlands have sign an agreement to share information with each other. Lotteries and Gambling Authority in Malta (LGA) and Netherlands Gaming Authority (NGA) will now partner on online gambling matters.

A similar agreement has been reached  last November between Netherlands and Belgium. NGA was eager to sign the deal with Malta due to the number of gambling operators licensed with LGA. Currently, there are 179 casinos licensed in Malta in KeyToCasino database.

The regulated online gambling market in Netherlands is expected to launch in 2016 when the country legislators approve Remote Gambling Bill. However, all Dutch-oriented operators are expected to apply for a Dutch gambling license by the end of the year. The NGA issues warnings and fines to the operators who ignore this requirement.
