Indian Tribe to Offer Online Gambling in NJ

Nov 10th, 2014

The Pala Band of Mission Indian Tribe has set up a deal with Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa to become the first Indian Tribe that offers online gambling in the state of New Jersey. The deal is now approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Online gambling was legalized in New Jersey in December 2013. During the first month, the casinos raised an estimated $7.4 million, which was below the projected path. In January, the number has risen 28% to almost $10 million, and Borgata online casino was on the top of the list with $3.9 million of the revenue.
