Evolution Gaming, the leading provider of live games, has announced the acquisition of Ezugi. This studio provides gaming solutions across the globe and has all features to strengthen Evolution’s position in the gaming market. It is also expected that this deal will increase the revenue of the industry giant by 2-4% in 2019.

Ezugi is an experienced provider of live dealer and mobile solutions for online operators, land-based casinos, and betting shops. It was founded in 2013 and certified in Curacao. Currently, its services are distributed to European countries, South Africa, Latin America, and the US (states of New Jersey and Oklahoma).

After the launch of Evolution Gaming’s products in Atlantic City, New Jersey recently, these two companies are currently the only ones to provide live casino solutions to the US market.

Evolution’s CEO Martin Carlesund commented on the deal:  “I am pleased about this agreement. It is a very logical next step for Evolution which will increase our market share in key existing markets, like the U.S, where Ezugi’s presence and customer base will add to our on-going market expansion as well as add licensees in new markets, such as South Africa.”

“…help bring the service to the current Ezugi operators to the next level.”

The acquisition is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2019, and the offered price is $12 million, but it can possibly soar by $6 million.

“Announcing this agreement gives me great satisfaction. Ezugi has come a long way since it was founded in 2012 and becoming part of Evolution marks the right next step for us. Evolution’s superior offering in areas such as streaming quality and speed, user experience, game choice and all-round operational excellence will help bring the service to the current Ezugi operators to the next level,”  adds Kfir Kugler, CEO, and founder of Ezugi.
