€5.6 Million Jackpot has been hit in Sweden

As you might remember, recently we've covered a huge jackpot being set at Unibet's game called "Mega Fortune". Tonight €5,6 million has been paid out. The jackpot goes to a 62-year-old player from Karlstad, Sweden.

Interestingly, Net Entertainment has just paid out another jackpot through Unibet Casino. This is the third jackpot that has been paid out by them and a second largest online jackpot ever in Sweden. Net Entertainment’s chief product officer Simon Hammon says that he is confident that many more records will be broken in the months and years to come. The Guinness World Record for the largest ever jackpot payout from an online game is €17.9m, paid out in January 2013, also from Mega Fortune. Hammon explains also: “These games and our superb catalogue of pooled jackpots – that just keep growing in popularity – continue to deliver life-changing sums for players.”
