• Barred

  Casino

  Not allowed to enter a casino due to past bad or criminal behavior.

• Barefoot Bet

  Craps

  A pass line or come bet for which the player doesn't take odds (odds being the best bet in craps) or a don't pass or don't come where the player doesn't lay odds.

• Brick

  HiLo

  A useless card that cannot form part of a low hand. E.g. a 9 or higher card in an 8-or-better game.

• Break-Even Point

  Casino

  The point at which a player is not losing overall.

• Bug

  Casino

  A limited kind of wild card. In pai gow, it can only be an ace or complete a flush or straight.

• Boat

  Another term for a full house.

  Synonym: Full House

• Betting Right

  Craps

  Placing pass line and/or come bets, the usual way players bet. Often seen (erroneously) as playing "against" the house.

• Bonus

  Casino

  Something (most often money) given to a person as an incentive to sign up or play. Usually comes with qualifying conditions, e.g. playing a certain amount.

• Black Bet

  Roulette

  A bet that the next number will be one of 18 black ones. There are also 18 red and one or two green numbers (0, 00).

  Slots

  A slot machine that rewards playing the maximum amount on a spin by multiplying jackpot payouts.
