Affiliate Edge Casino Program Blacklisted after De-tagging Players

Affiliate Edge Program

Whether going by the name Club World Casino or Affiliate Edge, the company in question came to be known in the iGaming circles as a program that cannot be trusted.
Rightfully blacklisted by the majority of honest gambling portals and webmasters, a brand of such poor reputation is not the kind anyone would want to associate with, or have as a business partner.
Before going into more details regarding their downfall...
Here's a bit of background first:
The group's origins date as far back as 2004, when they were founded as CWC and went on to become one of the best casino affiliates in the industry!
Aladdin's Gold, Lucky Red, Manhattan Slots, All Star Slots, HighNoon, Club SA, Buzzluck Casinos:

Yes! These are all their brands, quite famous across the USA.
Why?

Here are a few crucial reasons:

  • RTG software;
  • Restriction-stricken market;
  • Responsive, efficient support.

Powered by Real Time Gaming, their target audience were US online players.
And if you're asking yourselves ''Is this what made them so popular?''
Yes, being US-friendly definitely WAS a decisive factor.

But there's more to their success...
...considering how hard it really is to balance between players and casinos - two parties whose desires are so fundamentally different.

Their managers have experienced professionals, doing their job well.

Until something BAD happened and the group was acquired by new owners.
What went wrong?
A family business, owned by three brothers, started going downhill due to unresolved internal and personal conflicts.

Two brothers took the third (most experienced and capable one), to court no less!
He was driven away, leaving the business in disarray...

...to be managed by people who had NO idea how it is supposed to be done
Now:
It was in 2016, that some of their clients and partners first noticed something is VERY wrong with Affiliate Edge.
Commissions were suddenly half of what they were.

Strange, don't you think?
The number of referred players decreased rapidly, and the reason could only be a very dodgy one indeed:
Someone was secretly removing players from affiliate accounts!
But who would do that?

Who else than Affiliate Edge of course!
They were de-tagging players!
Some reports claim they've managed to shave over a thousand customers by 2018!
This is about the worst thing that could have happened - it IS an illegal and harmful practise...

...and a cardinal sin as far as casino affiliates are concerned.

Their faith was sealed.

The brand was immediately dropped like a hot potato from most of their biggest deals...
...losing in a flash of a moment the hard-earned reputation their predecessors had been building for years.
What a shame! They really WERE excellent in their prime.
Possible Connection to AffPower:
Though there are no means to prove it, there are strong implications the inexperienced owners sought the guidance of Affpower.

Shocking to see one of the most notorious rogues behind this!
This would explain the new direction the management has been taking recently.
Because let's face it:
WHO else could have thought ruining a respectable, well-developed business is a good idea?

Where there is smoke, there IS fire.

When the issues first started, Affiliate Edge did try to defend themselves, offering various explanations...none of which proved their innocence.
Eventually, they stopped responding to accusations and continued the same dishonest practise.
Avoid at all cost!
