It is great that our readers are able to learn about the company from the Platipus team, so thanks a lot for agreeing to this interview. Please share with us how has the company’s journey through the industry been thus far – from the day it was founded till today? Any certain deals and achievements that you are specifically proud of?
Since our inception in 2010, Platipus Software has created innovative software for the industry, specializing in gambling applications. Our studio started developing slot machines for social platforms such as Facebook, iOS and Android. Platipus has launched several social applications, Miracle Slots & Casino for example. We have developed +120 reeledmachines and 16 table games; roulettes, blackjacks, baccarats and various versions of videopoker.
Asall our team members have substantial experience and background in real money wagering,we decided in November 2015 to make a switch and put our focus on building a real money casino RNG engine which is certified by iTech Labs. At the same time, the production of HTML5 real money casino games was initiated resulting in the release of a batch of 16 new generation HTML5 slots. The second batch of 15 slots is about to get launched and a third batch of 5 is being developed for the Asian market, and is expected to get released in February 2018.

The first integrations of our HTML5 slots have just been finalized and ready to get launched at several platforms in various regionsaround the globe.

What is the key market you are targeting and are you planning any expansions in the nearest future?
Our key market is situated worldwide. Our current focus is on Asia and Europe.

We noticed that the main focus in your production is slot machines. How about table games or video poker? Are you interested in developing other types of games?
Our main focus is on slots indeed. However, we have built several types of table games before in Flash format and are currently developing roulette, blackjack and baccarat table games in HTML5 format.
How often is your portfolio being refreshed with new releases, and what are the typical challenges when creating a new slot? Is it easy to agree on a story, characters and features? What are the biggest challenges?
Platipus is constantly working on new releases with a minimum of one new slot per month. Our competitive advantage over other developing companies is that we study trends in the industry, both technical and consumer oriented.

Our market niche gets more cluttered than ever before. While this represents in a way a challenge for some developers, the Platipus team sees this as an opportunity to overcome these challenges by developing the most eye catching, fun, mind-boggling games in the industry.
Tell us a bit more about a couple of upcoming releases? What will they be about, and what should users prepare for?
Our upcoming releases contain new and exciting features. The gameplay is original and the themes are very different from each other, covering specific various needs and preferences of players from several continents.
