3. How long does it usually take the studio to create a slot machine – from selecting a theme to testing the new game and saying: “Okay, we’re ready to introduce it to the community”? Is it an easy process? And how do you usually know the release will be a success?
In fact, we need an average of 4-5 months to create a new game. First of all, we collect a creative group and discuss mechanics options & ideas. Usually, we write out famous, popular or unusual mechanics and combine them into a new game with expectation about 3-5 features count. Sometimes someone from the team comes up with an interesting mechanics, tells about it to others, and we light up and do it.
When new game has mechanics, main gameplay and features, we think about its mathematical characteristics and setting, in which it can be placed. We choose mathematics for the game in two ways. First - we use the old and tested, we have a large system of analytics, through which we track a game`s popularity and features. The second one - is trying something completely new. With artwork - it’s easier: we choose a setting, in which we don't have a game yet. It can be holidays, for example, Halloween, Christmas or a popular theme of antiquity and myths.
For this preparatory stage, usually a month of work is spent up, but it is rightfully the main one, since after it`s completed, we can understand what game we are actually crafting. Then we have a period of artwork and front-client’s programming. Together we look at the result. Each member of our team can offer corrections or improvements during this game`s development stage. For these purposes, we have a review mechanism.
Before releasing any of our games, we play it by ourselves in order understand what product our players will receive. If we are not satisfied with the result, we can completely remake this game. But usually, thanks to a good understanding of the market, an experienced multifunctional team and with good planning, we get quality games without long processing.
4. How do you come up with the topics for slot machines and new feature ideas? How does the brainstorming process go?
Our team comes in constant search of sources of inspiration. We have a creative thinking and original approach to all games, but at the same time, we always consider the current interest and relevance of the themes. We are inspired both by the products of our colleagues in the iGaming industry, as well as by already the proven land based slot machines. We always refer to the primary sources of a theme formation or phenomenon in culture. This helps us understand why a particular topic has won people's interest. Just a view from different angles makes it possible for us not to think stereotypically.
5. What does an even better customer experience mean to you? What features and tools are you adding to your software to ensure that the clientele gets the best treatment?

We also consider VR as the newest trend, which is gaining more & more popularity each day. With this technology, iGaming operators are trying to reach the same level of feelings delivery and excitement, which players have playing at landbase casinos. In some aspects, VR excites players even better!
Booongo Gaming always follows new streams and the latest elaborations, so we also have some developments in this area. But there is a common problem in fact that many companies don't fully understand, how to make profit on VR. We are also in the process of discussion, so the prospect of a realized VR direction in Booongo remains uncertain.
