• Casino Hold'em Poker

  Poker

  A Texas hold'em-based table game in which the bettor plays against the dealer. The player must ante, and can only bet double the ante after seeing their hand.

• Card Counting

  Blackjack

  Tracking the composition of the remaining cards in the deck (usually high vs low cards) in order to adjust one's playing strategy. A competent card counter has a long-term advantage over the house.

• Cashout

  Casino

  Converting chips back into cash.

  Synonym: Withdrawal

• Coat-tail

  Roulette

  Bet the same way as a winning player.

  Synonym: Chameleon Strategy

• Chase

  Casino

  An attempt to win back lost money.

• Come Box

  Craps

  The marked area where players put their come bets.

  Synonym: Circle

• Cold

  Description of a player who is losing a lot, or a machine or table where the players are losing.

  Antonym: Hot

• Corner Bet

  Roulette

  A bet on four numbers. The bet is placed on the corner where the numbers meet. It pays 8 to 1.

  Synonym: Carré

• Complete Hand

  PokerVideo Poker

  Cards that have already made a good hand (vs a drawing hand).

  Synonym: Boat, Full House

• Cowboys

  Poker

  Another name for kings.
